Norwegian Forest cats (wegies/wedgies to their friends) are intelligent cats. They are able to figure things out; like how to open doors to get to places and things you don’t want then to get to!

Wegies are friendly cats and like being with people. Even if they aren’t lap cats all the time, they will spend time curled up next to you on the sofa and then promptly take the warm spot when they can...

They come in all colours, except pointed, and take 4 to 5 years to fully mature. They have double coats, with the outer coat being waterproof to repel the harsh weather of their homeland.

They are recognised by all the cat associations in the UK (TICA, FB & GCCF).
